The disciplinary probe into two senior Department of Special Investigation officials, suspended for allegedly taking a bribe of up to 40 million baht, will be completed in 30 days, DSI director-general Paisit Wongmuang said on Thursday. Pol Col Paisit identified the two officials as Lt Col Pakorn Muttamara and Maj Nattaya Muttamara. Pol Col Paisit said they would be required to testify to the investigation panel, a process likely to be completed in 30 days, but could be extended as necessary. After that, the panel would forward its findings to the DSI's civil servant subcommittee to consider and make a suggestion on disciplinary action. Pol Col Paisit admitted this case had affected the DSI's image.
